It is the responsibility of the employer to fund the purchase and administration of vaccines for occupational health purposes.
Patients should be charged privately for all travel vaccines not prescribable on the NHS.

Note the current supply shortages as of Sept 2017 with Hep B vaccine and that Public Health England have issued guidance to mitigate the shortages and the combined vaccine is recommended in certain circumstances to help manage the shortages currently. Prescribers are advised to follow Public Health England until supply issues are resolved.
Hepatitis B surface antigen 10 micrograms/ml 0.5ml (paediatric) & 1ml (adult) prefilled syringes (HBvaxPRO)
20 micrograms/ml 0.5ml (paediatric) & 1ml (adult) vials prefilled syringes (Engerix B) also available.
If being used for the purposes of travel, only available on the NHS for at risk groups- see the Green Book for further information for travel. May be given via private prescription if required for travel for patients who do not qualify under the NHS.
Be aware of differing doses of different brands which are not interchangeable:
- Energix B® 10mcg (paediatric) and 20mcg (adult)
- HBVaxPRO® 5mcg (paediatric),10mcg (Adult) and 40mcg (renal dialysis or HIV)

The tuberculin PPD currently supplied is unlicensed in the UK.
20 units/ml (2units/0.1-ml dose) (for routine use), 1.5-ml vial; 100units/ml (10units/0.1-ml dose), 1.5-ml vial
Dose: By intradermal injection, for Mantoux test, 2 units (0.1ml of 20units/ml strength) for routine Mantoux test; if first test is negative and a further test is considered appropriate 10units (0.1ml of 100units/ml strength).
Only available from designated Yellow Fever Vaccination Centres.
